Stretch base. Giving a snug secure fit, ensuring
the wig moulds to the head.
Comfort band. A soft velvet band at the front of the
wig gives extra comfort.
Size adjusters. Allows the wig to be easily adjusted for
size. Fixed with Velcro or hooks to elastic. The soft velvet base gives extra comfort
for the extended nape. This is also used to grip the Velcro.
Stiffened ear tabs (side burns) on a soft velvet base. These should be pressed
to the temple area to mould to the head for a secure fitting. Make sure they are
level each side.
